This competition called for a 22,000+ square meter (~235,000 sqft) multi-tenent office complex, sited at the edge of a new business district in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.

The entry was required to meet stringent performance and site greening standards. As a team, we were also interested in an adjacent  neighborhood, Šnipiškės. This historically-important but recently impoverished area north of the Old Town is in the process of being erased by new development, such as this project. We hoped to use our entry as an alternative to this process.

The design referenced local forms and materials, arranged itself on the site so as not to cut off previously open public access, and altered its scale and height to maintain solar access to adjacent low-rise construction.
